I was driving down Dundas Street the other day and saw this. I am pretty convinced that is an arm to a spaceship or a weapon of mass destruction. Or a really large tea kettle. Either way, he can't be up to any good.

crazy random coincidence... It's a sculpture of a tree trunk that I believe they just erected in Ottawa last weekend. I know because I walked by the night before and the day after, outside the Minto Office tower on Slater St. (their corporate logo is a tree)
